Basic directions of scientific researches of the Institute are linked to
-development of quantum theory of gravitation,
-analysis of the evolution problem of the Universe and astrophysical objects
-bulding of the unified field theory model
-searching of new approaches to deduction of the equations for physical interactions
The Research Activity of IGC PFUR:
By the decision of the Scientific Council of PFUR in 2008-2009, the group of scholars of the Institute for Gravitation and Cosmology obtained the status of scientific-pedagogical collective with international level. Annually the employees of IGC PFUR publish dozens of papers in Russian and foreign scientific journals, by subject related to the most recent directions of modern physics. The collection of the subjects includes the following themes:
-Searching of the solution of the Dark Matter problem (linked to recently discovered effect of accelerated expansion of the Universe). Describing of the local objects possessing strong gravitational fields (Black holes, wormholes). Investigation of new exact solutions in cosmology and alternative theories of gravitation (multidimensional, scalar-tensor, nonlinear in curvature).
-Investigation of the problem of possible variation of fundamental constants in spaces of diverse dimensions.
-Development of computing methods and improving programming security for searching of exact solutions of alternative models of gravitation and cosmology.
-Explanation of observational anomalies of space probes' „Pionieer” motion and relativistic effects of both the quaternionic and the general theories of relativity. Formulation of the dynamical equations of the quaternionic theory of relativity and relativistic two-body problem. Formulation of electrodynamical equations within the frames of quaternionic formalism.
-Investigation of quantum gravitational systems, analysis of the quark-gluon plasma behavior in gravitational fields of mini-black-holes. Searching and investigation of models of quantum Universe, interpretation of anisotropic cosmological models in frames of General Relativity and Finslerian geometry.
-Analysis of symmetry of complex vector spaces of quaternionic algebras, invariants and topologies of induced geometries. Classification of singularities in complex-quaternionic spaces and the particles and the fields associatied with them. Modelling of wave properties of particles-singularities in complex space by using of the geometrical phase and the concept of complex-quaternionic time.
-Unification of fundamental interactions in frames of the Kaluza-Klein-like multidimensional geometrical models and basic appropriateness of the Standard Model in frames of relational approach with application of diverse classes of generalized geometries.
The Institute supports researches in philosophical thinking about modern physical ideas and theories, and also links and relations between natural, scientific, and religious points of view. For this, particularly, there are organized regular Russian and international conferences, seminars and schools in gravitation, cosmology, astrophysics, natural-scientific philosophy; participation in international programmes of scientific-research works by two-side agreesments.
